Automatic transmission fluid for passenger cars blended with premium base oils and additives. Formulated to lubricate automatic transmissions running at higher temperatures. The formulation based on the premium base oil of Valvoline ATF DEX/MERC has high viscosity index which provides increased protection and lubrication of the automatic gearbox over a wide temperature range.
Applications
- Suitable for automatic gearboxes of passenger cars and vans where the manufacturer recommends an ATF GM Dexron III or Ford Mercon.
- Can be used in some manual transmissions.
- Sometimes recommended as hydraulic oil in earth moving machines or hydraulic lifting equipment.
- Sometimes recommended as power steering fluid.
