High performance heavy duty lithium complex EP grease developed for lubrication of automotive and industrial equipment like trucks, road-building equipment, and industrial machinery. Valvoline Multipurpose Complex Red 2 is a premium Lithium Complex thickened lubricating grease formulated with mineral base oil and enhanced with a red color to enable easy verification on the applied parts. It is suitable over a wide temperature range, mechanically very stable and due to its tacky consistency, has premium stay-in-place properties.
Applications
- Ideal for use in wheel bearings and all other applications where a conventional lithium grease doesn’t fulfill the temperature and/or shock load requirements.
- Suitable for several construction, industrial, agricultural, marine, mining and automotive applications.

Valvoline Multipurpose Complex Red 2 protects against rust and corrosion and carries premium oxidation stability properties. The grease has a good mechanical stability that, combined with the tackiness, gives an excellent stay in place performance even with heavy loaded bearings.
The product lubricates and protects under the most severe circumstances, like high pressure industrial, humid and/or dusty conditions. The Lithium complex thickener structure enhances the performance in vibrating housings.
Valvoline Multipurpose Complex Red 2 can even be used in unfavorable working conditions, like damp atmosphere or dusty surroundings. The product is suitable for applications within a very wide temperature range, especially at elevated temperatures.
