Unique and superior performing OAT coolant for heavy duty engines. HD Nitrite Free Coolant RTU contains unique Valvoline patented technology* and is registered to Cummins CES 14603, conforms to ASTM D6210 & D7581 and is specially developed for heavy duty engines. It incorporates organic acid technology to protect diesel and gas engines from liner pitting and hard water scale deposits. The silicate, borate and nitrite free extended life chemistry protects all cooling system metals from corrosion including aluminum. Valvoline HD Nitrite Free Coolant can also be used in gasoline, stationary power, marine, natural gas and light duty applications. The product is backward compatible for all cooling systems using OAT coolants. Keep the cooling system full and check concentration or freeze point regularly. Valvoline HD Nitrite Free Coolant is also applicable for Passenger car applications such as Kia, Hyundai, Ford, Renault and Dacia. HD Nitrite Free Coolant RTU provides up to 10 years / 1.000.000 miles / 20,000 hours of service without the need for extenders due to patented non- depleting organic acid technology.
The patented technology is compatible with an extra wide range of metals, including aluminum. HD Nitrite Free Coolant RTU offers superior corrosion protection in an extra wide variety of heavy duty cooling systems, in both diesel and gas engines. Specially recommended for stationary gas engines in power generation applications.
HD Nitrite Free Coolant RTU is compatible with major long life and conventional brands of ethylene glycol based coolant. However, long life characteristic may be diminished by mixing with light duty or conventional fully formulated coolants.
